The masterbrand artwork is the official source file delivered by the client, and it already carries the correct proportions, alignment and spacing. This page lists the available versions, the situations they suit, and the mistakes that come up most often. Under no circumstances redraw, retype or modify the artwork.
The default version for white and controlled light backgrounds, for both screen and print. Use only on approved dark backgrounds. The background must provide sufficient contrast; never place it on mid-tones or busy surfaces.

Use the vector files from the RGB screen package. On dark interfaces switch to the reversed version; do not force the color version onto a dark background.
Presentations and documents
Place the vector file or a high-resolution PNG, and always scale proportionally. Do not screenshot the website or copy and paste from a PDF.
Print production
Send the printer the AI or EPS files from the CMYK print package, and work to the agreed print conditions and a proof. Do not treat screen HEX values as print values.
Third-party and partner materials
Supply the official source files and require the recipient to follow the rules on this page. Do not authorize anyone to recreate or adjust the artwork themselves.

DO / DON’T
DO
Preserve the full clear space
Measure the surrounding space from the visible artwork, and let no text, rule or image enter that area.
DON’T
Do not let the artwork touch an edge
Crowding the logo against an edge, or squeezing it between other elements, costs it legibility at small sizes.
DON’T
Do not scale disproportionately
Widening, flattening or single-axis scaling all change the proportions of the wordmark. Always scale proportionally.
DON’T
Do not recolor
Use only the approved color or reversed version. Never apply another hue, a gradient or any off-brand palette.
DON’T
Do not crop or obscure
The logo must appear complete. Never crop part of it away, let another element cover it, or use one of its elements on its own.
DON’T
Do not place on busy or low-contrast backgrounds
The background must be plain and provide sufficient contrast. Over an image or a pattern, use a solid color panel or the reversed version instead.
DON’T
Do not rotate or tilt
The logo always sits horizontally. Never rotate it, tilt it or apply a perspective distortion.
DON’T
Do not add effects
Never add a shadow, outer glow, outline, emboss or any filter. The artwork is flat.
The incorrect examples on this page are generated live in the browser by applying styles to the correct official artwork. The site does not store, and will not distribute, any altered logo file.
